Transcendent Planning Principles - #5 (Give Generously)

In this short video (1:29), Ron Blue continues a series on the six transcendent financial planning principles. He has found that, when it comes to making financial decisions or doing financial planning, there are six unchanging principles that are transcendent. The fifth principle is to give generously. He will share the value of that principle in today’s video.

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith.  Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

II Corinthians 9:6 (ESV)

“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”

Matthew 6:21 (NIV)
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

I Timothy 6:17-19 (NASB)
“Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, Who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.”
