Transcendent Planning Principles - #4 (Set Long Term Goals)

In this short video (1:25), Ron Blue continues a series on the six transcendent financial planning principles. He has found that, when it comes to making financial decisions or doing financial planning, there are six unchanging principles that are transcendent. The fourth principle is to set long-term goals. He will share the value of that principle in today’s video.

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith.  Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

Philippians 3:14 (NIV)
“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Luke 14:28 (NASB)
“For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?”

Proverbs 21:5 (NASB)
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage, But everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty.”
