Transcendent Planning Principles - #2 of 6 (Debt)
In this short video (1:08), Ron Blue continues a new series on the six transcendent financial planning principles. He has found that, when it comes to making financial decisions or doing financial planning, there are six unchanging principles that are transcendent. The second principle is to avoid debt. He will share the value of that principle in today’s video.
As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.
Proverbs 22:7 (NIV)
“The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”
Proverbs 22:26-27 (NIV)
“Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts; if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.”
Romans 13:8 (NIV)
“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.”
