Is insurance a lack of faith?
In this short video (1:37), Ron Blue talks about the dynamic that exists as Christians seek to adequately provide for their families, while trusting God’s protection in their lives. He argues that it is a part of walking biblically to take steps necessary to provide adequate insurance for times of crisis.
As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.
Hebrews 11:6 (NASB)
“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”
II Timothy 3:16 (NASB)
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.”
I Timothy 5:8 (NIV)
“If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
Philippians 4:19 (NIV) “And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
