Looking to God when starting a business

In this short video (2:05), Ron shares his own story of starting four businesses in his lifetime. He contrasts running a business by following the world’s path with running a business by following God’s path, and he offers encouragement to Christians who want to follow God in their business life.

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith.  Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NIV)
“This is what the Lord says: ‘Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, Who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,’ declares the LORD.”

James 1:5 (NIV)
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”
