I Money Myths: Money Equals Security.

In this short video (1:24), Ron concludes his series on “Money Myths” by tackling the myth that money equals security. He shares that, in reality, the more you have, the less secure you will be. True security only comes by knowing, believing, and doing what God has to say in His Word.

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith.  Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

Matthew 19:23-26 (NASB)
“And Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’ When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, ‘Then who can be saved?’ And looking at them Jesus said to them, ‘With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”

Psalm 20:7 (NIV)
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.”

Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NIV)
“Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.”
