What is your best piece of advice for parenting adult children?

In this short video (1:44), Ron shares his opinions about a framework for parenting adult children as he transitions to a new series on wealth transfer (estate planning). In the coming weeks, Ron will walk through the various steps in the wealth transfer process, but first he will lay a conceptual framework for the topic of transferring wealth to the next generation. 2 Timothy 2:15 (NASB),
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of truth.”

Proverbs 29:17 (NIV),
“Discipline your son and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul.”

Colossians 3:21 (ESV)
“Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

Psalm 127:3-5 (ESV),
“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”
