What are some ways to teach generosity to your children?

In this short video (2:58), Ron continues a Virtual Feedback Loop series on training children to manage money. This week, Ron talks about how he and his wife sought to model generosity for their children and teach them to live a generous life as they grew into adulthood.

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures on training children and generosity, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

John 1:16 (NIV)

“From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another.”

Proverbs 22:6 (NASB)
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Isaiah 32:8 (NLT)
“But generous people plan to do what is generous, and they stand firm in their generosity.”

John 4:10 (MSG)
“Jesus answered, "If you knew the generosity of God and who I am, you would be asking me for a drink, and I would give you fresh, living water."

2 Corinthians 8:2 (NLT)
“They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.”
