What is your perspective on retirement?

In this short video (1:38), Ron shares a view of retirement that challenges the traditional American view of the topic. He challenges you to explore your own view of your retirement and to embrace the reality that God has excellent plans and purposes for you, no matter your age.

Thank you to those of you who filled out our second survey. If you haven’t, please go to www.surveymonkey.com and take a few minutes to answer the five questions. We so appreciate your input.

Finally, forgive the misinformation about the Janet Parshall radio time slot. There were some last minute difficulties that forced the radio program into Wednesday instead, and we hope that some of you were able to hear the hour-long interview at that time.

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures on abundance and meditate on their Truth and their application.

Psalm 71:17 – 18: (NKJV)
“O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me.”

Psalm 92:12 – 14: (NKJV)
“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.”

Genesis 2:15: (NKJV)
“Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.”

Ecclesiastes 5:12: (NKJV)
“The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich will not permit him to sleep.”

Matthew 6:19 – 21: (NKJV)
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Ephesians 2:10: (NKJV)
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)
“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
